Just saw a link to an article on a Dell blog about their contributions to Linux. The blog is here, and if the article isn't on top, click the "Linux" link in "Categories" on the right or go here.

More than just hearing about their contributions, it's nice to know a company is publicizing rather than hiding their involvement with Open Source.

I get the feeling that Dell is looking to move in new directions. Even though they mostly sell Windows boxes their relationship with M$ is pretty strained. I hear the same thing about their relationship with Intel. Throw in the mix that their sales are down and you see the writing on the wall.
