Neuros OSD not go!!!

I was interested on buying the Neuros OSD, Linc however break out the gloomy news that is not working yet and is not delivering what it's advertising. I was one of the suckers for having a linux-device to free myself from TV. Here in Mexico the greatest desktop is the HP with the removable keyboard and integrated video capture with the composite and the DVD burner makes the perfect media player. However instead of having a huge tower trick of all trades I was seduced for the small gadgets doing their thing and talkng to each other.
Neuros would be the soldier managing my TV and recording whatever video I want to rip out of the cable TV. Even if the MP4 recorder the flash memory is not really the best for my nokia770 or my NorhTec Micro Client who runs Puppy Linux.
