I'd go for a good tobacco pipe. Nice ones have gotten absolutely insane pricewise. I mean, fsck, Trever Talbert moved to goddamned france, and prices tripled - it's like he was holding them down or something. Now his sh|t is just as expensive. Ah well - good tobacco in a cheap pipe I guess...

You can't get one any better than getting one from the website on the list. Kurt is a friend and makes the absolute highest quality pipes and his craftsmanship is astounding. I have long wanted to own one of them myself but I have quit smoking all but the occasional cigar now and I think with one of those pipes here the temptation would be far to great to have it working all the time ;-)

Yeah, I looked at those - very nice! I'm afraid that I'm never going to be a $100+ pipe man at this rate. I make $42k a year and have two kids and 3 dogs and a mortgage. I'd love a luxury item like those, but I generally find something else to spend my $$$ on :(

Still, it's very cool that you have a firend who makes pipes - I only smoke occasionally, but I'm much more a fan of pipes than cigars at this point. If I end up with a new job or a big fat raise I'll definitely look at your friend's site again!

Tell ya what. You just let me know how much you can afford and would be willing to spend on a really nice pipe. I'll talk to Kurt and see what he can do. That goes for the rest of you too. I'd bet he'd make a deal if he can.

Lots of neat gifts on the list but I'll have to pass on the realdoll.
The 6+ grand would be better spend on new toys for the goldwing.
