With the split from Compiz and the Novell/MS deal how much interaction is there now between the Compiz team and the Beryl team? Are patches being passed back and forth?

I have a few questions that may be relevent...

have you thought of working with the project looking glass?
Is there any interaction with say the noveau project and the ati open source one?
What distribution do you use?
ESR has written extensively that 2008 will be the year of the linux desktop or it never will be, what does it take on the linux desktop to accomplish this or is ESR talking rubbish?
whats the general reception of beryl been like?
Where do you see beryl in 6 months time?
whats your fav programming language?
whats your fav text editor?

What will happen to Beryl when KDE4/GNOME3 include 3d functionality? Will Beryl be merged into either of those projects or is Beryl just a project that will continue until they are released?

It seems that both Compiz and Beryl has focused mostly on GNOME, why is this?

Will you start making it work better on KDE in the future?

When will Beryl start to get properly stable and not just focus on having the latest "bling" ?

What do you think of the argument, that some people make, that Compiz and Beryl encourages use of proprietary drivers?

Which graphics cards with free software (open source) drivers does Beryl work perfectly with?

What are you thoughts and what can be said at this time regarding the attack on Beryl's website?

This one could get an interesting result...
