blogs are kinda novel , they can ware off really quickly , especially if your not a writer or keep a personal diary.

i started a blog on linuxquestions.org some time last year and it only has 2 entries

I only write in my blog when I think I have something interesting to say that other people might find interesting. I don't try to write once a month or anything, I simply write when I have something to share. I don't think there is anything wrong with not updating a blog for a while because we now have RSS so people will probably still read your posts no matter how often you update it.
