Another advantage of being a Linux user...

Went to a local electronics shop today to pick up a new universal remote for our home entertainment centre.
They had just what I was looking for, but of course, the young sales guy did his best to rope me in and buy the higher priced remote. He started to show me all of its' great features and why it was worth the extra $100.00 bucks.
I was starting to get a bit irritated, then he mentioned how this remote control could be hooked up to my PC and uploaded with new functions from the manufacturer, therefore always having the latest firmware.
"Ha," I thought, "got you now." I then asked, "is it Linux compatible?" Oh, no it wasn't, and that finally shut him up and ended the sales pitch.
Thank you, Linux!
