Hey Pat,

Im considering taking the hdtv plunge myself.

With the hdtv package from comcast do you get all the hdtv channels that are listed in the channel guide? I understand you would only get the pay channels(hbo,showtime,etc) if you subscribe but I'm wondering about the rest.

Also when you subscribe to hbo you get 10 different hbo's, is there only one hdtv hbo?

Are there other encrypted hdtv channels besides the pay channels?

We don't get Comcast in this area. It's either RCN or Service Electric.

I do believe it's only 1 HD HBO. The same for Showtime, Cinemax and the other movie channels.

This varies depending on the provider. With RCN it's just the movie channels.
