I think it shows a lot of promise, but a few things stand out to me.


1) The claims that the software just controls his tv and receiver with no setup. Not sure how this can be done without some configuration. I suppose it could send a TV on IR command to every TV type in its database. How it would know how to control a receiver though and know what inputs go with what device seems impossible without some setup.

2) I don't like the mouse interface. I would much more prefer to see how it works with a standard IR remote. Navigating all those menus seems like a lot of work.

Other than that it looks very cool.

I had never heard of this...has anyone used it?

I would love to see the show do an interview with someone from the project.
