I'll do it. Troels and I were guest hosts on LaGER a few months back.

Guys I highly recommend using Gizmo as the SIP client. It's very easy to connect to Asterisk. The only parameters you need to configure in the client are IP address, extension & password. Hell you don't even need an Asterisk server. You can connect through the Gizmo service. It's doesn't cost anything as long as everyone is running Gizmo. Another great feature is the recording function which sounds fairly decent. Does skype even have that yet?

For this to work, someone needs a Mac.

Thor has a Mac Mini, although I know for a fact he doesn't run OS X. I have a G4 tower, but that is running Debian.

You don't need a Mac. I'm telling you Gizmo will let you record the conversation.

It wasn't to record anything - it's for the feng shui.

I was under the impression that you could record from asterisk in a conference call, but I am sure there are more ways than one to do it...

The easiest way to do it is everyone use Gizmo. Gizmo has a built-in call recording function. Plus if everyone is on there it won't cost a thing. Minimal setup and bandwidth requirements.
