I live wihing spitting distance of Galveston, Texas. While waiting to see what Humberto was giong to do, I decided to try a new distro. Anyone run mepis or antix? I tried the latest version of antix but it said the cpu was too old. which left me perplexed. Debian goes on it fine. I tried an older version of antix and it is loading now but it seems to have gone to sleep. Time to take a nap.....

The version I am running is the "spartacus" edition based on mepis 6.5

maybe that is the difference?
