I'm just happy Dann's beard is back.

anyone here played with screencasters? i tried to make a video of it for troels as he refuses to install flash. When i tried, the sound was never recorded. I went through Istanbul, recordmydesktop and xvidcap with no success, if anyone can do , that will be great.

I was just thinking the same thing, glad you let us know how difficult that was. I don't know that I'll have time to try to vid capture it myself, but if I can I'll give it a whirl.

I did a screen capture using demorecorder on my POS laptop. It works but it's a little choppy. I think it has to do with the crappy video card:

I'll try on my workstation later to see if it's a little smoother.

How did you even get that created? I've tried a few times, and I never get past the "loading" portion of uploading a jpeg.

You're talking about the initial elfyou creation, right? Crop your pics to just head shots. I believe there's a file size limit. Here's a snapshot of the video I took:

Yeah, I meant the creation of an elfyourself. The files I'm uploading are any a few hundred-k at most, but I haven't pre-cropped them - I was under the impression they had a tool to allow you to do that on the site - I'll try again.

Allan's puckered lips are the best. It makes him look totally into the dance.

I wasn't able to do it either, and just assumed it had something to do with the Linux version of flash. I finally broke down and used my wife's iBook.

That's Dann who's all puckered up.
