Lenovo will start offering Thinkpads with SLED starting 2/19

The difference is that these are regular Thinkpads and not the $3000 machine they were offering in the past. In other words it will simply be an OS option while configuring your machine. Hopefully Dell ups the ante and makes good on the rumors of expanding their offerings to include the XPS laptop line.

Finally I really wish Lenovo would get rid of that annoying "Lenovo recommends Vista" banner on a page touting a Linux offering.
