I went to watch the Pacers vs. Celtics game and thought I was hearing things when I heard the Celtics shouting "Ubuntu!" when they broke huddle. A Google search after the game dug this up:

Re: Ubuntu in the NBA
That's pretty cool. I'd say it's probably just a coincidence.
I remember going to see the Celtics play the Pacers back in the first round of the 2005 NBA playoffs only to see the C's left beaten and ultimately dead. Fortunately the Pacers aren't a threat this year, and the Celtics are the best team in the league.
Detroit is the only team that poses a serious threat to the C's.

I have an image of Wally standing up and yelling Gentoo back at the team when doing their Ubuntu chant. People looking at Wally wondering WTF he's yelling about. Then security coming along and dragging him out of the crowd.

I would pay to see Dann try to hex the Celtics by saying "Deeeeeeeee-bian" holding a hastily scribbled big ass analog clock on a placard.Tsuroerusu wrote:Not far from something I would pay money to see!Patrick wrote:I have an image of Wally standing up and yelling Gentoo back at the team when doing their Ubuntu chant.
