I beta'ed this for Amazon and it worked great from day one. I was bummed they asked me to keep it quiet until it was released because this is awesome. I'll have to dig up the feedback I sent them and post it. I had absolutely no problems using their down-loader. It was simple and fast. Two thumbs up!!

I hope this service kicks the crap out of iTunes, but they have an uphill battle as iTunes has the lionshare of the market and a lock on the most popular personal media device. Yet, it's beautiful that there is an alternative we FOSS users can engage in legally.

To use a bit of very blunt OpenBSD terminology for a moment, did you sign your life away with an NDA?

So, basically all this does is allow me to buy music that was previously marked as "album Only" - correct? Or was there some pricing deal where per-track albums were $$$ and per album they were cheap? Everything I've bought there has been $.99/song with the album price being the sum of the price of each track.

Well I did buy a kids album for my son that has 23 tracks on it for $8.99. Much cheaper than 23 X .99 = $22.77.

No, I did not sign and NDA. I did, though, respect their wishes. Why burn bridges?

According to Stallman there are times when an NDA is fine. Watch the following starting at 6:40. It's pretty funny.
