Looks super awesome, and if this is just what an alpha looks like, I can't wait to see the final version, man that should be kick-ass!!!

All they need now is an Amazon plug-in and they're golden! Nice to see the application re-inventing itself in new and fresh manner. It's a step in a right direction if someone see a Linux application and wants it over iTunes or other Windows/Mac apps. For too long we've heard "if only iTunes was ported for Linux". You know what, we don't need your stinking iTunes!!

I think I heard a Danish Amarok developer mention that Amarok 2 will have a generic music store API, so that you can essentially make it work with anything, so it might very well be possible if people get busy reverse engineering things.

Remember though, that Amarok 2 is gonna be ported to both Windows and Mac OS X.
