Chumby - More than a digital photo frame (4Linc)

Linc was talking about setting up a device that's more featured than a digital photo frame. Sounds like the Chumby might be what he's looking for:

I was looking at the chumby, but the big deal breaker for me is that it doesn't have a battery and has to be plugged in all the time. For a device like this it's crazy that you can't pass it around the room to show off pics to friends and family.

To tell the truth I think a Nokia 770 picked up on ebay for <$100 can do everything the chumby ($180) can, and then some, plus it's battery powered. Anyway, Linc has his trusty N800 that can do anything the Chumby can too.

I don't know why anyone would buy this over any of the Nokia tablets. I still can't figure out why they would even release something designed to be carried and squeezed, that's all soft and squishy, but which turns into a doorstop as soon as you move five feet away from a wall outlet. What a waste.
