Voice Over IP

I was curious how many people out there are testing VoIP products and what their experiences were. Around my office, we have settled on the SIP protocol but are going back and forth between two different servers: PBX-in-a-Flash http://pbxinaflash.net/ and SipXecs http://www.sipfoundry.org/. Both have their advantages and sponsors.
PiAF has some stellar documentation and was created by someone who obviously enjoys writing manuals. It's Asterisk-based, so there is a lot of hardware that will work with it. It uses FreePBX for an interface, but I can manually config it as well using any asterisk documentation. There are also tons of scripts that pull down asterisk source code.
SipXecs is gaining a lot of support from vendors, though. They recently managed to convince Nortel to get involved and I'm trained on Nortel Systems.
I guess I'm between a rock and a hard place on which one is better. Any advice?
