This is really a great little utility for Linux laptops that allows you to conserve battery life by tweaking your hardware for maximum power savings. After running this on my ThinkPad, my battery life increased by 30 minutes.

That sounds like an exaggeration , anyone else can confirm this?

With PowerTOP, I managed to increase the battery life of my Panasonic R4 laptop from 4 to almost 7 hours
