Slashdot: Cisco To Buy Jabber

This worries me.

Knowing how Cisco tends to be with FLOSS, this might not bode so well. Thankfully, Jabber is FLOSS so it can be forked if need be.
I hope my fears are unfounded (wouldn't be the first time
).
