I'm running it now on my work workstation and my system76. Both were fairly painless upgrades but I did have to reconfigure X and install the nvidia drivers. That was pretty easy though - dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg.

You can beat the rush by installing one of these and just applying the updates.

Thanx for the info. I made another linux convert of a lady nurse friend who bought a used machine with xp. She has had nothing but problems from viruses, She has watched me use linux and now wants to try it. I will probably install it next week when she has a day off..
