I bet if we move the windows Explorer window to expose the weather widget we would notice that the weather widget has the time on it. So that would mean three desktop time keepers. Two digital and On Big Ass Analog Clock to enjoy. Way to go Windows 7. Not only are you ripping off KDE, but you are making sure we know exactly what time it is.
Hell, this looks just like gnome too with only one Panel at the bottom, or it could be Xfce4 for that matter.

Windows 7 looks like Vista. They're just applying more polish to the same turd. I can say this because I have Vista on my laptop in a partition I hardly use.
The only reason I keep it is for the rare occasion I stay at a Holiday Inn Express where you can't log into their wifi unless you're on Windows. What a stupid wifi setup they use.
Bugz

It was being touted as a piecemeal system where you could add only the features you wanted. You are supposed to be able to run from the command line. There was a youtube video of it running a rimky dink web server using 250 meg disk space. Free dos with boa could do the same thing on a floppy. If windows 7 looks like kde4 then someone needs to do some code matching to see if the is any illegal code in windows 7..

Thanks for the information. I wonder if that's the case for all of them. If so, then that permanently removes them from my list of options. Hyatt Place, Days Inn, and America's Best Inn always have wi-fi that works without stupid OS requirements

That solves my confusion, then. All the early reports I've heard are that Windows 7 doesn't look any different from Vista.
So maybe KDE copied Windows, and not the other way around.

Or maybe they both copied Apple (who probably stole from someone else).
I think I'm confused again.
