IE's share of the browser market fell below 70% in November

I'm sure the Microsoft dudes are starting to get a bit frantic about the slippage in IE's market share, and I fully expect IE8 to get nearly as glamorous a launch as Windows 7 in order to try to win back some of those Firefox and Chrome converts.
For those of you included in that group of disenchanted IE users, what would it take to bring you back? Adblock Plus for IE? Or would that just be polishing a turd?
UPDATE: Preliminary numbers on December browser usage indicate that Microsoft has lost more ground, now coming in at just over 68 percent market share.

Curious. I wonder what is causing the increase of firefox users? Are new systems getting that installed by default?
I am a huge fan of Firefox, but it appears to be crashing a lot on my kubuntu 8.10 system. I don't know if it is kde or firefox since I don't remember having problems when I used gnome on 8.10.
Also, is google still standing behind chrome or is that a project that will fade out?
It is great to see IE loosing market share... IE sucks...

I agree, IE is terrible. I think that Firefox is gaining because it's great.
It's simple, firefox good, IE suckfest. But I also like Konqueror.

I have not really had any problem with firefox or iceweasel on any linux box. The only reason IE has a big share is one not everyone knows about firerox and two that most ms oriented it departments require IE to be used on systems. It was that way where I used to work. most people prefered firefox. It management would pull firefox of of machines that had it installed including mine.

Where I work we still have web apps that require IE 6, and that's what's on all our XP machines that most people use for normal web browsing (not good security). We also have some web apps that require Netscape Communicator 4.79 as well. My large corporation is in cost control mode, so they continue to use old, poor systems instead of investing money in systems that would actually improve the operation and quality control. Upper management today seems all about cost control and find a certain level of defects acceptable, but of course it doesn't stop them from talking up customer satisfaction hoping they can convince the low level employees to kill themselves trying to compensate for the shortcomings of the business. But the truth of their words bears out in how they invest in the business. I'd be interested to learn what they teach these executives in management school, as it sure doesn't seem right to me.
