Linux for the blind.

I just downloaded the new Adriane Knoppix version of linux and it seems to be very oriented towards the blind. it is a live cd so you do not have to install it. As long as you put it into a machine with a working compatible sound and speakers, it talks everything including the text menus available at boot time to run just special programs. It took me for a loop till I realized it's intentions. You can go to http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=knoppix. I went to a faster mirror to download it though. I highly recommend it as one of the options you or someone you know who is blind to get into computing.
