episode 284 - hi-def comment

Just a comment. You can get hi-def OTA broadcast with just a plain ol' set of rabbit ears. $10 from wal-mart. I have seen hi-def displays at my local box retailer with paperclips in them getting a hi-def signal!

Now, obviously this depends on how good the signal is in your area. But it is possible.

we have been building HDTV antennas via GPLv3 plans over here:

they only cost about $6 to make. good fun!

Dude, that is BADASS. I haven't needed OTA for a few months because I got FIOS installed. But sometimes I watch sports OTA. Maybe I'll put one of those in my attic for that purpose.
