If MS wants to make a Windows to run on the Arm and the new OLPC, fine. If people want to install Windows on an OLPC, fine. But why is Negreponte and the OLPC project "urging" for this? They have gone from an organization with one of their stated goals being the promoting of freedom to now urging for unfreedom.

Yeah, I don't understand that goal. What is the point of them urging MS to port Windows to ARM? If that is what they want why even bother with Linux at all?

Is this one of those ploys where they use Linux to get the technology off the ground and then abandon it before it even has a chance of taking off? Very disappointing. Next they'll be going after porting OS X to the arm. Hey, developers need to eat!

Just something else to help linux look even better. On the plus side, maybe some of the people let go could get their jobs back to work on such a project.
