If MS wants to make a Windows to run on the Arm and the new OLPC, fine. If people want to install Windows on an OLPC, fine. But why is Negreponte and the OLPC project "urging" for this? They have gone from an organization with one of their stated goals being the promoting of freedom to now urging for unfreedom."Like many, we are urging Microsoft to make Windows -- not Windows Mobile -- available on the Arm. This is a complex question for them," Negroponte said.
OLPC is in talks with Microsoft to develop a version of a full Windows OS for XO-2, Negroponte said.
