I noticed on a recent FLOSS weekly podcast that Leo is taking sponsorship money from Micrsoft Sync. This is the software running the on board GPS and other electronic goodies in Ford vehicles. Is it just me or is this just wrong? Taking money from MS for an Open Source podcast, WTF!!! I am seriously considering boycotting all TWIT network podcasts.

Leo only cares about money. He doesn't care where it comes from. Not surprising at all. If it bothers you so much stop listening to them. I did a long time ago.

Hmmmm... I would suspect that the advertising money does not go to the specific show, but into the twit network as a whole from which each show would pull and a lotted amount. Therefore, advertising revenue made from one show goes to support another to some extent. Thus, MS adds would have been supporting FOSS weekly all along just like Astaro, which is Linux based has been supporting Security Now and Windows Weekly.

Maybe I am wrong though. His network is a commercial venture so more power to him.

Now when Russ Werner does it on Techie Geek, that is another store. That sell out bastard! I'm just kidding. He's a great guy.

What I would like to see though, is goto meeting for Linux. Those citrix bastards need to get off their asses!

I do use a citrix metaserver client for work when I need to run a Windows only app. It works very well in Linux.

Yeah but they do not have a gotomeeting for linux. Grrrr...

With dimdim, who needs "gotomeeting"?
ulteo serves out mswindows and linux apps. might be a good alternative to citrix.
