Avidemux2 as video editor

You have talked alot about video editing. I really like avidemux2. It imports .nuv files (from mythtv) among many others and can export to quite a few different formats. Check it out. In my opinion more stable and more formats than kino.

Yeah for sure. I agree totally.
Kino really sux for me, but haven't given it much time.
Avidemux2 is the VirtualDub of Linux. Can edit all you want and then either direct stream copy the video and/or audio or re-encode it to your favourite codec. Can also export to an agm container as well as many others.
Also, its picked up pace in its release cycle after slowing down about 12-18mths ago.
Forums are really helpful too.

I've never used it for DVD authoring (never really thought of it), but avidemux is an awesome program.
