What if Micro$oft chickened out of S. Korea?

The Register reports, right here, that Linspire has offered South Korea to replace Windows if Micro$oft hitails it out of there.
Personally I have a lot of mixed feelings about this, because I just don't feel that Linspire is good for that sort of wide deployment (I know Carmony says they don't wanna "force" people to run as root, but he gotta wake up and smell the coffee, running as root is just not safe!!!).
I would much rather like Red Hat to take a bite out of that S. Korean Micro$oft market share, and I'm not saying Linspire should also have a piece of the cake, but I just feel better with Red Hat, it's not because I think they are angels and wonderful, but I just think they understand free software and open source A LOT better than Linspire, and they're wise enough to make their distro not run as root by default (Which other desktop oriented distro that also advertises security run as root?) which doesn't take that much brain power, but it looks as if Linspire just doesn't posses that.
Another thing that might suit S. Korea very well would be Turbolinux since they has a big focus on the asian languages, which I could imagine to be quite a important.
Actually I must admit that I do have played with Red Hat Enterprise 4.0 AS, pretty good distro, I wouldn't hesistate to consider that one for a large scale server, but I probably would run FreeBSD
And by the way, if Novell could get their asses moving they might be able to catch a bite of the cake, I heard a little birdie singing about Novell laying-off a core KDE developer, almost the entire Evolution team... YO NOVELL, IF YOU WANT TO CATCH UP WITH RED HAT, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!
