Migrating Access databases to MySQL

wow -- this looks sweet. I have an Access db at work that I detest and would love it get it over to mysql. thanks for these links. Has anyone tried them out?

P.S. I like the Iron Maiden avatar, Pat. Powerslave, right? I had that circa 1984 I believe.

Well, I haven't used any of those but there is a package called mdb tools that I have been using with great success for quite a while now to yank data out of client-supplied db's so that I could use it. You can find info here: http://mdbtools.sourceforge.net/

MDB-Tools lets you use Access which is crap. Why will you want to mantain Access databases with limited tools. I would just rather use a real database in MySQL.
