I'm working on Friday and usually leave for work around 5:00 AM. There's a Toys-R-Us and Wal-Mart right before the highway entrance in Phillipsburg, NJ. I plan on bringing my digital camera and snapping some pictures of these people. I'll post them on my blog on Friday.

Linux games I not only play/played but PURCHASED, include:

* Return to Castle Wolfenstein
* Rune
* Robin Hood - The Legend of Sherwood
* Darwinia
* Marble Madness
* Magesty

Paying for great games like these is something I don't mind doing at all. It also helps having demos that one can play to try the games out to see if they're something you'd like.

As for this self generated Xbox hype.... shameful, and just shows you how sheepish the general public at large can be.

The truth is, buying an Xbox hurts Microsoft, as long as you don't buy any games. They lose money on the hardware. This is true of virtually every console.

not really since they release their sales charts and game developers will think that there are that many people they can reach by developing for Xbox and then more games will be made for Xbox 360 and more of them will be sold. Besides getting an Xbox and no games is a waste

I'm gonna way for the Nintendo Revolution, I just hooked on the features it has an also that online gaming with 1st party games will be free of charge and will be available from day one
So far Nintendo has confirmed one title: Smash Bros.

To me the GameCube version is addicting, to me it just never gets boring

By the way, something I find really ironic is that people talk about games being too violent and there's too much "sexual content" sneaking into games (The future Dead or Alive for Xbox 360 will have a "boob bounce" ratio for the female characters ROFL), and at the same time, people mock Nintendo for trying to come up with ways that doesn't nessecarily include violence to make games fun, ad because they do that they get labeled as "the kids console", the GameCube had quite a few games I wouldn't let a 5 year old play, like Resident Evil.

Yeah Im gunna get a revolution if I have enough money when it comes out, if not Ill save up and get it. Online play will be crazy with Smash Bros. There will be as big a fan base as Halo....scary. Plus I could use my DS with it and its gunna have the 3 best series: Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. this should give an example of why to buy a revolution over a 360. As far as adult content GameCube did have some but not quite as many GTA clones as PS2 which is fine by me

Reggie Fils Aime, vice president of Nintendo of America, has said that the Revolution will be the cheapest next-gen console, so far I've heard that it will cost about 150 bucks, which is very cheap when you consider that you get online gaming on Nintendo's own games for free

I don't understand the "adult content" thing you're saying, I just don't understand why people at 28 can't play Smash Bros., Zelda or Super Mario Sunshine (<-- My favourite GC game).

I think its mostly that kids make themselves seem cool if they play Mature games and they do it because everyone else is. They don't understand that games are about having fun not improving your self-image. Rating doesn't matter for me, I think Resident Evil and Smash Bros are both awesome games. Some games that are mature are good so are a lot of non-mature games.

I'm personally stunned by the stuff Nintendo is doing with the Revolution, I think this new controller will be the first one to provide a decent control system for FPS games, I'd like to try playing Quake 3 with that

Where did you hear online gaming with Nintendo's catalog of games is going to be free? I'm specifically talking about their entire back catalog from the nintendo on up to the 64 (not sure about the GC as the Revolution will play GC discs and pulling down the contents of a GC game seems like it would take not only a lot of time, but a lot of storage space)?

As for mature rated games; I would personally love to see more of them on Nintendo. While I do love Zelda and the Mario series, I also love the Resident Evil series, Eternal Darkness and Blood Rayne games. I see a lot of survival horrors games coming out for the Playstation and it almost makes me want to fork the dough over.

Seven months until the launch of the Revolution and at $199.00 I know I will not be disappointed. The price tag and my current economic state make it very difficult to justify a Playstation 3.

Another bummer I am facing is that the Call of Cthulhu game came out for Xbox. Now if they put out a version for Playstation, I may just have to get me one. Prices for the P2 have come down and may be even lower with the advent of the P3.

Man, if that comes out for the PS2, I'll have to start gaming again. As it is, I still have 2 Silent Hills to finish (I lost my damn memory module when I moved, and was only 3/4s of the way through SH3. I also have "SH: The Room" but haven't even popped it into my player). I haven't made time to game for a long, long time.
