FYI, the show forum is always open for our listeners. Dan even added this to use IRC within a web browser:
http://www.thelinuxlink.net/cgi-bin/cgiirc/irc.cgi

This is very helpful for those at work and have every port blocked (sans port 80).

Good stuff, I like having a nice geek chat session over a cold cola and a slice of pizza during christmas, love it :D

;and for those who have ports open but can't install a full-featured IRC client: ChatZilla!

;nice little client. using this will reduce the load on dann's server too.

Strange web interface, you can only see the box where you type stuff in if the browser has no tabs open.

But it works. Not the best interface but an option to those who have none.

what I do is run chatzilla and carry Portable Firefox on my DAP so I don't have to use Internet Exploder 8)

I use gaim, because usually my IRC buddies are the same over different protocols. So is just easier to pm them over a IM interface. However when I want to chat on the boards I usually use X-Chat2

Just and fyi, while I am always on, I spend most of my days over on #lvlug. So if you are looking for someone to talk with and no one seems to be on #techshow, check out #lvlug.
