Annoying someone via the Net is now a crime in the US

Last Thursday, President Bush signed into law a prohibition on posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying e-mail messages without disclosing your true identity.

This is rediculous. I can see someone with a lawyer just going on a sueing rampage. They could go to one of the Gamefaqs forums and they could become richer then Bill Gates. Internet anonomity is one of the greatest thing about using the internet. You don't have to give out your regular name and its harder for people to track/stalk you. I hope someone will stop this law. Hopefully the EFF will help bring back internet anonymity

And good luck proving who the anonymous person was who actually did the posting.
What could they use, my IP address. "Hey, I've got an open wireless port. Anyone could have used my IP" or "I was using MS-Windows, my PC was hacked!"
Most of all, how do you classify something as "annoying"?
Even this thread could be classified as "annoying" to the idiots who voted for this law. If you're in the US, I wouldn't reply in a negative way to my comments... or you'll be breaking the law; that is, unless you've registered your ID as your real, full name.
