Looks like everyone will be upgrading in the next 72 hours or so (I hope).

Thanx Dann for the info. I just went to 2.6.15.1 in a matter of minutes. I remembered to save my .config this time

When was the last time that Linux had an exploit that could be exploited remotely? Long time ago right?

I haven't seen mention of this exploit anywhere else - strange.

Reading this report I don't see anything for me to worry about. I don't have any malicious users on my home network, and I have no internet facing machines with open ports.
I guess I'm safe for now. I'll just wait until Dave Jones puts out a new Fedora kernel. This means I have to reboot my server this year.
