I like the physics part in there.

using another quote from jfk - in a physics lab they can make an elephant dangle from a cliff by hanging onto a daisy with it's tail.

The PowerPC chips were pretty nice, but if they were that great Apple wouldn't have had to pay for fake benchmarks to prove the G5s were the fastest PCs in the world. They used specially tweaked libraries and such and ran tests against Intel systems specially configured to run slow.

I guess it's over now, since they don't even support their own claims that Power is better.

I guess PPC wasn't faster after all :roll: :P :lol: :wink:

I look forward to seing AMD's dual core chips with DDR2 memory, and oh boy I wan't a dual Opteron workstation! :wink:

The lastest claims of a massive speed bump (2X-3X) over the old PPC chips have been exaggerated:

Well, it wouldn't be the first time, and come on, are you surprised? Microsoft has been doing that for a while now with their "Get The Facts" propaganda.
