"Novell is announcing its contribution of the Xgl graphics subsystem and the 'Compiz ' compositing manager to the X.org project.
...
Under the leadership of Novell's David Reveman, Novell has sponsored and led the development of this powerful new graphics subsystem for Linux since late 2004."

Well, once again I have to give a few thumbs up to Novell!

Are you the leader of the openSUSE project? Because if you're "running openSUSE" you're leading a community project dude!

OpenSUSE is the project, and SUSE Linux is it's product, as I always say when people confuse the project with the distribution.

Anyway, Novell Linux Desktop 10 will include XGL, since NLD is one of Novell's enterprise desktop offerings, I doubt the XGL they include will be unstable, I may have to delve into the darker sides of the internet to grab a copy of NLD 10!
