you guys mentioned with jeremy on the last show about mp3 licensing and watching movies.
I did a little research and the hardware manufacturers that I buy are listed on the mp3licensing.com site - now shouldn't that entitle me to listen to the mp3 cd's I bought and download any player I want.
the same holds true with dvds
i mean how many times are the patents going to get paid for me to listen to one song. why should both my hardware and my software have to pay for the patent.
Isn't once enough? I would really love to see this fought in court. These patents holders are just raping and pillaging the consumers.
this is why I use ogg but I think this is ridiculous.
