Have you ever donated money to an open souce project?

I was just curious, how many of you have ever donated money to a free software or open source project? Personally I would if I could, but since I'm under 18 I can't because I don't have a credit card, but when I do get get that I plan to send a few bucks to these projects: KDE, amaroK, digiKam, Azureus, OpenBSD and FreeBSD.

Yes - I just pretend I'm buying shareware or proprietary software to figure out how much the software is "worth" to me. Usually somewhere between $10 and $40. I get really heated when I hear things like "I'm the type of person who'd NEVER pay for software..."
FWIW, many open source projects also take paypal or Amazon gifts as "payment." I like the last option a lot - that way I know the dev is getting something they want which they probably wouldn't buy with whatever money I'd donate. Of course if what they *need* is a new server, a CD of ABBA's greatest hits probably isn't going to help much.

I thought SourceForge does this sort of thing for some of the projects on it's site.

I've donated to Vim more than once. I use it all the time, and really would have a hard time doing without it.
I'm sure I've contributed monetarily to other projects, but nothing else comes to mind. I've contributed support, documentation and bugfixes to several projects.
Back in the late 80s when I had a Commodore 64, I copied commercial software like crazy. Somewhere in the 90s when I started using OS/2 I decided not to use anymore software that I didn't own legally. I got in the habit of registering Shareware or using free software. Even my copies of Windows are all legal.
