Dude, right now I'm running 3 distros not counting the machines I've set people up with.Tsuroerusu wrote:Oh geez, now you're trying to be LugRadio, huh Pat?![]()

Of course and that's a good thing, I don't run only SUSE either, I run OpenBSD on a box sitting under my desk, and CentOS on another box that's in the closet.Patrick wrote:Dude, right now I'm running 3 distros not counting the machines I've set people up with.

Cool ! Nice To see a fellow Dane running SUSE. I also run SUSE om my main Workstation (at home) - still running "Duplo" (windows XP) on work, and that sucks ...... !
Well, for me, SUSE boots in like 20 seconds, so I don't really don't feel like I'm loosing performance, and then one it's booted I usually just keep it running for days and it runs very nicely, and I don't really mind scarificing a little speed to have the nice stuff that SUSE offers. One of the things I really look forward to in 10.1 is the integrated desktop search, the integration of NetworkManager and of course lots of other good stuff.IceMan wrote:I'm also running SUSE 10.0, i also bought it from linuxshoppen, however it was 499 dkr then. I have used suse since 9.2. It is a nice distro, nice and easy to set up.
I almost bought a second copy when i saw them offreing it for 250 dkr at Linux Forum 2006 - just for the cause !
As I vrote before, I also use Vector Linux 5.1 on my trusty old laptop ! it runs really fast, and i hate to admit it it really blows suse away, performance wise !
