Now that I worked out my confusion about which Linux show is which, I'm confused again.
I'm member #13 (how lucky, hehe) here and #117 over in LUGRadio forum.
The confusion comes with the difference of forum sizes and and time "on air".
Sure, LUGRadio has a bunch of members with zero posts. In the world of forums do zero posts count as a member? I don't participate in many on line forums, 3 tech show related and 1 on line game (Utopia).
Anyway why does LUGRadio's forum have 117 members and The Linux Link Tech Show has 14 when TLLTS has been running allot longer?
I'll do my part and inform my friends about TLLTS.
I do enjoy both shows. LUGRadio is more goofy at times and can be hard to follow. I'm glad I've gotten over the image of Monty Python doing a Linux tech show though it was kind of fun for awhile, then my buzz wore off.

Our forum is only about two weeks old and theirs has been going a lot longer. Also, they publicize a lot more. We have not done any publicizing due to bandwidth restrictions, but all this is changing.chef8raygun2 wrote:Anyway why does LUGRadio's forum have 117 members and The Linux Link Tech Show has 14 when TLLTS has been running allot longer?

Please don't get my wrong, I'm glad I'm #13.
Finding a new tech forum of this size is better then finding free money. While both are good, the info I can learn here will last me allot longer then the money.
Leo Laporte (of techTV fame) has a tech show on KFI radio and a huge forum. I may have posted 2x. Way too much for me to handle. Chatting in their IRC is far better for me. That's where I 1st found out about LUGRadio and then click on the TLLTS link from there.
I think this forum is my #1 tech forum. Small, friendly and some might even laugh at my goofy humor. What more could anyone ask for?
