question about apt get

hi I'am totally new to installing linux on systems, and I just installed DSL-N and was wondering where there would be a good site with directions and links to some apt that work with DSL-N which is debien based I think, Any help would be great.

Post the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list, and I can get an idea of where Damn Small is pulling from.
