I don't want to spam nor do I want to post an URL, but I would like to work with others in open source music.

I'm bored whipping up my own stuff and would like to be challenged working with others.

This is what I came up with last years: http://www.acidplanet.com/sonic_eccles

Music is just a hobby of mine, I'm not looking to be signed.

Again, I hope I'm not spamming. I'm just reaching out to others that might want to whip up something for fun or chase a dream.

My import/export e mail is raygun@frontiernet.net Almost spam free and I'd like to keep it that way.

Hey, if you're interested in some airplay, why don't you pick a good song or two and send it to us at the Tech Show. We play OS music as our intermission. We'd be glad to give you a spin!

Linc,
I'd love to send some of my music your way to play on air. Are you kidding, free air play? I'd damn near wet myself.

What format and file size works best for you?

Thank you sooo much for this offer.

Really old Dec (triple 486, 64mb in 30 pin simms and a shed load of lead making it the largest and heaviest machine I have ever owned)- not doing alot at the moment I have some old SCO software to see if it will run. I have had it partially boot to a linux kernel using a floppy but as it's such a strange beast I think I need to install on the systems developed for it.

6
3.2ghz P4 -running windows XP (gf's machine)

various old machines including ZX81, Specturms, Ataris, Acorns and a bunch of consoles. I just got rid of an intell 600mhz based machine by xinit (http://www.xinitsystems.com) a linux based company here in the UK. I had to get rid of it before the other half would let another computer in the house. Plus I had a Compaq Armada M700 laptop but it burst into flames on christmas day.

Mind you, he has to be able to scp; and he says he's running Windoze right now. http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

Of course, he has PScp, and it's trivial to learn how to use.

Wow, everybodys got like 50 boxen :oD

My main PC is a P4 2.8ghz with HT, dual 120gb hard drives, 1gig RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 video card, SB Audigy 2 with external I/O box (very sexy). annnnnd a Hauppage WinTV card (I use TV Time with the Audigy I/O rigged up for a remote control). This box runs SuSE 9.1 Pro, although that'll be changing to Gentoo sometime in the fall when I'm back at school.

My main laptop is an HP hv5160: 2.8ghz P4m, 512mb RAM, ATI Mobility 9000, 60gb hard drive. At the moment Gentoo is bootstrapping :oD I dual boot this box with WinXP

Then my space consuming boxen:

Laptop: 150mhz P1?, 32mb RAM?, 4gb hd. Runs Slackware 9.1, but is really just a guinea pig.

PC: P1 233mhz, 128mb RAM, 40gb HD, Voodoo3 2000 vid card, and SB Live! soundcard.
