Project Idea

Post by hellonorman » Mon May 14, 2007 10:44 pm

I'm posting to see if anyone is interested in writing a full fledged eBay management application. What I had in mind was a cross platform application written in python similar to Shooting Star http://www.foodogsoftware.com/.

I'm an avid seller on ebay and have always craved a good...make than ANY...management tool that could be used in linux.

I'm certain anyone who participated in such a project and saw it all the way through would truly become very proficient as a python coder.

I realize that not everyone is going to be interested in eBay and how it works. So my suggestion is somewhat self serving in that regard. But the skills learned in creating such a program would be vast and varied. Not to mention just having something tangible to work on.
