I just wanted to answer, from my perspective, one question in the blog.

"does it feel nice to be part of a country responsible for the deaths of over one hundred thousand people for oil under the pre-text of war on terror ?" - It feels fantastic...power...We're amazing..God bless America.

And as far as the India bashing. Whoever did the bashing is a moron and has no idea of the importance and greatness that is India. Chakde-India.

I have no idea who the guy was talking about though.

EDIT: Was this your blog? Who is Leo Laporte? And another great bennifit of India, Bollywood! I love Bollywood. Om Shanti Om, Chakde India, Veer Zaara, Jab We Met, Dhoom! Dhoom2! I have all of them. I only bought Veer Zaara for real though. The others are burned copies that I bought at the local Bazaar.

India peaceful? Not so long ago there was almost nuclear war between Pakistan and India. Of the people from india I have seen, none of them have the half the class of Mahatma Ghandi. God forbid India will get it's September 11th. I think we should just leave the middle east and let india take care of it since they are such supermen.

Ok, first off, India is considered South Asia, stupid. And India has some crazies too but that's because they border some crazy countries. India is peaceful. And second, Indians are super...ok, that's my opinion.

EDIT: And if you want to decide who is peaceful on nuclear war I think we were the ones who bombed the shafe out of Japan. But I consider us peaceful. Why you got to trash talk on India?

I have a great respect for Ghandi and the people like him. Unfortunately, I have yet to meet anyone bur a very few exceptions that are like him from India. I worked in the college environment for almost twenty years and met a lot of people from all over the world. I am entitled to my opinion.

With all due respect, I never said any part of Asia was part of the middle east. I only suggested that India should take our place in policing the middle. east. The US is not part of the middle east either, yet we are having to wipe their posteriors. When the US starts using water to run cars and factories, the middle east can kiss their bully posteriors goodbye. I actually have looked at a world map a time or two. As much as you will not understand this. the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, actually saved lives compared to the amount of people that might have been killed if the war went on. Besides japan was warned what would happen if they did not behave. We did not just drop the bombs for grins. I do not think anyone was warned at pearl harbor. If japan had not bombed Pearl Harbor then there would have been no need for all the carnage to begin with. By the way, history forgets how many innocent people japan murdered both in Asia such as Chine citizens, American service men. and all the people on islands they took over.

All of the middle east is part of Asia, as you can see on the map above.

Maybe you want to have a look at it a third or fourth time.

If you ask most people from the middle east, they do not claim to be asian in any shape form or means. It is a shame the map does not distinguish between the middle east and the far east. Either way the real issue is still being avoided.

That's really a silly argument. What does Asian mean to you? Turkey is both a European and an Asian country, so is Russia etc. Asian does not only mean Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Mongolian or Japanese. "Asian" is a very very wide term, I am adopted from Sri Lanka, so I would have a South Asian heritage. This continent is called Eurasia for a reason. Both Europe and China are on the same continent. If you said "European", that would be very wide as well, as Europe is many many countries.
eddie wrote:It is a shame the map does not distinguish between the middle east and the far east.
Why is that a shame? Both refer to different areas because Asia is so darn huge.

This was a stupid question and deserves a stupid and sarcastic answer. If that were the case it would be terrible. But it's not, so it's laughable. Stupid question.

Ghandi? What's with you and Ghandi? Do you have a crush on him or is he the only person that you can think of that is from India? What about Yash Chopra? :)

And going on and on in deffense of the US dropping a nuke? I never said that we shouldn't have done that.
We did what needed to be done. We are the greatest country in the world.

But you calling countrys names when you don't even know where they are located is just rediculas. And even if you do know where they are you shouldn't say they're not peaceful based on the fact that they are ready to fight for their peaceful country.

Dude, why would they claim to be asian? Are you trying to say that South Asia is the middle east? If you are walking up to Indians, Pakistanis, Afghanis, for instance, and saying "dude you're middle eastern right?" They're probly just being nice and being like "yeah..sure" and calling you a moron when you leave.

I get a little ticked on this subject because I live in Texas, and almost all the people I know think that Iran and India are the same country. They are like, why do they make their women cover their whole body and hang gays?

I think the educational system in the US needs to clerify what each country around the world is all about.

Especialy when you've got Texans running for the door when a sikh walks into the room.
