When we die, our bodies disappear , admittedly Ive never dug up a grave to verify this.
With this disappearance , what happens to the atoms that we are all made of? Do they just increase on top of the earth ? do we reincarnate as a different living organism?
The fact that history has never mentioned the existence of 6 billions humans than today negates the idea that we are all from a different life.
Of course the sum total of the past population could be reincarnated now.

Well I didn't complain, did I?

Classical physics dictates that the mass in a closed system always remains the same. Mass cannot be created or destroyed only changed. The law of the conservation of energy essentially says the same thing about energy - energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed. Thus, the total mass and energy in a closed system (universe) remains the same.

These concepts can break down in modern physics.

How does this impact on reincarnation? Who is to say that reincarnation is limited to earth? Perhaps one can be reincarnated on another planet as a different species in an alien galaxy?

When die, our bodies decompose, which is not the same as disappear. Our atoms get incorporated into the rest of the system.

Is there a soul? is the soul matter or energy? Questions, questions.

Looking at how reincarnation has been used to justify the caste system, which I find repulsive, I don't see much to gain from such beliefs, much less any reason to believe it happens. With someone's belief in God, it comes down to something that's axiomatic, and an explanation for the "disturbance" that caused the big bang, but I don't see reincarnation as axiomatic in any way, and nothing to justify believing in it.

I don't believe in a soul, in the classical, traditional sense. A soul being some kind of semi-transparent, ghostly-looking thing that is made up of this kind of "wonderstuff" (to steal a term from Dan Dennett), that magically escapes our bodily death. I guess it's possible we could be born again as a fly or as some other kind of organism, thousands or millions of years from now, either on Earth, or on some distant Alien planet, but I see absolutely no reason to think that we'd have any kind of memory of our previous existence.
