A Pakistani mother buys knives on chain for her son for the Ashura, a day when Shiite Muslims beat themselves with knives to mourn the death of their spiritual leader Imam Hussain, grandson of Prophet Mohammad, Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Pakistan's Shiite Muslims will observe the Ashura on Sunday under tight security after a suicide bombing in Peshawar which killed 11 people in a Shiite mosque.
