Jesus was only crucified once. Most people get crucified in one way or another many times more than that in a lifetime. Been there done that.

Jesus isn't a wimp! Yes he was crucified once, but he didn't groan or complain or shout out of pain... and his crucifixion killed him. So; the other folks that get crucified in their lifetime at least doesn't get killed and they have outlets to express their pain.

Did he not come back to earth for a short time after his death? So the he died twice? Poor guy so he had to endure a few hours of nails being stuck in his body and now he is sitting pretty up there on the right hand side of god. He did not lose anything. Anyone who can walk on water could certainly cancel the pain from the nails in his body. Death is not just the perishing of the body. I have seen people who were almost brutally murdered and women who were brutally raped. They were so demoralized that they were mentally all but a vegetable.Their soul was in a living death..

I'm wondering why you even posted this, are you looking for someone to debate religious matters? I'm really not a big debater. I guess some of the things in the bible are left up to interpretation, but it did say something about him not using his "powers" to hide the pain... so that he can take all the sins of man and feel what they feel. The was brutally beaten as well - did you see The Passion of the Christ Or did you put any study time into The New Testament of the Bible? Besides crucifixion he has endured a lot of turmoil in his body - to the point here he was sweating blood.

I did. What a lame movie! I asked for a refund, but Mel Gibson wouldn't give me one.

What!? I thought that movie was well done. I used to be DEEP into the church and I've heard the story many many times. So; to actually see someone put something together like that, it was breath-taking for me. I "felt his pain".

Actually I grew up a chicken eating methodist. Sometimes, I like to think outside the box and challenge what I believe in once in a while. Maybe that is being a bit eccentric, but it gives you perspective. I did not see mel's movie nor did i care too. Hollywood already is spoiled brat rich.

Just to deviate a bit, since Hollywood is so spoiled - go the route of torrenting the movie.

I would prefer to make my own movie and it definitely would not be about the bible. After the twilight zone I have been in the last couple of years, a movie would boring compared to my life anyway. Hopefully soon I will be with the daughter I never knew i fathered.

Wow, that is something! Since the bible is supposed to relate to us all - how about this project - make a movie, a short of some kind (done on YouTube just about every day) and fill in the cracks with bible verses. Some folks call the bible a modern day soap opera or love story. It would be nice to see how your story plays out!
