Oil up $10 today

I just paid $4.20/gallon in Brooklyn, NY. I'm glad I drive an old little Toyota Tercel. The battery technology already exists to make a good all electric car. Where the hell is it already? At the very least get some decent plug-in hybrids on the market fast.

I would think the companies that own the patents to hybrids also have a share in the oil companies and oil dependency is not going away to fast.
