Another reason to not like September 11. The first time I have ever had to leave my home because of a hurricane. We are told we have to leave. Probably a good thing to leave. If we only still lived on the other side of town.

I have a rather large closet if you need somewhere to stay.

Nope, we're supposed to get major flooding. It's going to be pretty awesome. I just have to wax my board. I'm going to be practicing in the pool at my appartments.

My brother's step son (who is on emergency call) is staying at my brother's home which is two doors down. Maybe I should of stayed home. We shall see. At least there will be someone to keep an eye on the houses. They have arrested some alleged looters. Even up here in Kerrville, all the hotels/motels are all booked up. Watching the news seeing all those people at the coast really acting like tourists bothers me. I hope they stay ok. One of my brothers is an insurance adjuster for hurricanes and the such. He is licking his lips if he decides to that again. It was fun seeing Geraldo on tv down in Galveston, We were hoping he might find his last story. People are finally leaving town because of the hurricane. This is the first time I have ever left town because of a hurricane. I am glad i left early before the super traffic jam.

Homes less than a mile from are completely under water.

Thank god it's good to be home and the power just came back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to catch up on podcasts!
