ACORN is being investigated for registering dead people, mentally retarded people and other people multiple times. In fact they even registered Mickey Mouse:

In the past year these people have registered 1.3 million "people" nationwide. We're all doomed.

Should we all be surprised ?
I think all the good people of America should migrate and leave the crazies to fight against themselves.

Isn't the mantra of Chicago politicians "vote early vote often"?!
A found another article talking about this ACORN group registering the same people over and over. Not once or twice but like 70 times:

I've heard stories of certain parties going to group homes for mentally retarded people and busing them to the polls. They offer them lunch and treats after they vote for a certain candidate. While this may not be illegal it certainly is immoral.

There's a big difference between voter fraud and voter registration fraud. I'm not saying that this isn't a serious issue. And this certainly needs to be investigated and corrected.
But the overwhelming majority of this type of voter registration fraud won't result in voter fraud. Many of the people that ACORN hired, homeless, recovering alcoholics, recovering drug addicts, etc. were desperate for money, which they only got if they made their quota of registrations, so they made them up. These made up names, won't translate to voter fraud.
In the case of people registering multiple times, with different addresses. This type of voter registration fraud is the kind that is much more likely to be an indicator of future voter fraud. But the people who do this will use any service that is convenient. Some used ACORN. One could also go to the local DMV or other government office and get the forms.

I'm voting here for Obama and by absentee in Oklahoma for Mccain.
