Well Pat I guess great minds think alike. I burned a new cd and was setting up to do it. I thought I would give it one more try. I booted it and went in remotely from my laptop. This time it took about 3 minuted at the blue theme screen and I was just about to reboot. Low and behold a new screen popped up saying I needed to update my database. I did the update and my frontend came up and seems to work fine. Will have to test it a few more night to be sure but I have mythtv in my bedroom again.
